Chimacum Valley Veterinary Hospital and Pet Townsend Veterinary Clinic are hiring! We are looking for full-time veterinary assistant or licensed LVT (experience required). We would love to find a candidate(s) that is interested in growing their career and moving into leadership positions such as inventory management, team leadership, and/or training leader(s).We are a paperless practice using cloud-based practice management software (evetpractice). We have 7 veterinarians serving clients in 2 busy locations - Port Townsend and Port Hadlock. Schedule with days/hours to vary -- Monday through Saturday. Full-time hours of 36+ required. Staff work at both locations at least one shift per week. Pay and benefits are negotiable based on experience. Intermediate computer literacy - able to use internet based software with ease; ability to lift 50 pounds; work on feet all day; ability to write legibly and perform basic mathematical functions; ability to perform safe animal restraint. Must be over 18 years of age; ability to interact with the public in a professional manner. Ability to foster open, two-way communication with DVMs and fellow technicians/assistants and front desk team. Ability to meet patient needs by understanding animal behavior. Ability to provide excellent client communication, education and care.
Additional Salary Information: Based on experience. Additional compensation available for advanced job duties agreed upon.
