Seeking Veterinarian with surgery experience for a high-volume spay/neuter facility. You must be licensed in Georgia. Prefer DEA licensing and USDA accreditation. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday; however, the schedule can include working every third weekend performing a vaccine clinic. Typical surgery day is 24-35 patients, depending on doctor preference and client demand. Typical day lasts from 8:30-until last patient is recovered. HELP is a non-profit veterinary hospital providing high volume, high quality, low cost spay/neuter surgery, as well as yearly vaccines, for all dogs and cats. Following the Humane Alliance NSNRT protocol, we have two surgery suites, each with two surgical tables, one prep table and a support team that paces with the doctor to safely maximize surgical capacity. We have two transport units that go... into the community and pick up pets, bringing them back to our stationary hospital for surgery. Each doctor performs 24-35 surgeries daily, comprised of a male/female cat/dog ratio compatible with the doctor/team comfort level. Our patients are a mixture of personally owned pets and rescue pets. Approximately 69% of our personally owned pets receive some type of financial assistance.
