| 2 Full-Time associate veterinarians needed for a busy four-doctor mixed animal practice in Orangeville, IL. We are seeking knowledgeable, motivated, team-players who are willing to see both small and large animals (majority dairy). Experienced vets and new graduates are welcome to apply. We have a relatively new facility (2007) with an in-house lab, digital X-ray, high-speed dental unit, anesthetic monitor, haul-in chute facility, and portable ultrasounds for pregnancy diagnosis in cattle. We provide 24 hour emergency service for large and small animal patients but we also have the ability to send cases to nearby referral centers. Our emphasis is preventative care and production medicine. Small animal: basic medicine and surgery, dental care, wellness panels. Large animal: basic medicine and surgery, reproduction, protocols, calf care, records analysis. Night/weekend emergency hours are split equally between all 4 doctors. Competitive salary based on experience with work vehicle provided, two weeks paid vacation, paid CE, Illinois and Wisconsin licenses, and dues paid. Our practice is located in beautiful Northwest Illinois. We sit right next to one of the longest biking trails in the state. We are within an hour driving distance of Rockford, IL, Madison, WI, and Dubuque, IA. Lots of local breweries and wineries in the area.
