Provide service in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the School of Veterinary Medicine. Participate in training of residents, veterinary students and interns within the critical care section. Participate in scholarly activities within the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department and critical care section. This position is clinical track.
Provide service in small animal emergency and critical care in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at the School of Veterinary Medicine.
Participate in training of residents, teaching of veterinary students on the clinic floor (Curriculum: Phase 2) and visiting interns and residents within the emergency and critical care service.
Participate in scholarly activities within the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department, including research and teaching veterinary students (Curriculum: Phase I). Will actively participate in the graduate program, continuing education, and public relations programs of the School of Veterinary Medicine. (All levels)
Will collaborate with other services within the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and cooperate with other clinical faculty in clinical teaching and hospital practice. Other duties as assigned
DVM or Equivalent and board certification by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or completion of a residency approved by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care
Special or Physical Qualifications
Per PS-18, employee may be required to report to campus in times of emergency and/or closure.
