Port Royal Veterinary Hospital (PRVH), on the Atlantic coast between Charleston and Savannah, have broken ground on adding 4,000 square feet for a total of 5300 sq. with state-of-the-art surgery and imaging suites, including ultrasound and dental X-ray, lobby and exam and treatment facilities. We offer in-house diagnostics with full complement of blood and urine analyzers.
PRVH receives more than 10,000 patient visits annually and counting with nearly 1,000 visits a year by first-time clients.

Our practice sees nearly all companion pets, including avian and exotic, and is the go-to practice in Beaufort County for wildlife and animal shelter/control cases along with Dr Marikay Campbell utilizing her masters in veterinary forensics.
PRVH provides urgent/emergency care 24/7 so shared on call is a must, a service that has made us a well-regarded, valued and popular part of our community as well as a veterinarian practice leader.
Additional Salary Information: Base 75,000/ yr. = 2884.62/pay period (every 2 weeks)
Doctor production above 375,000/yr. or 28,846.15 /2 pay periods (4 weeks) earns additional commission
Dr paid 20% of production above threshold in addition to base (paid every other pay period)
On call is shared with Dr Marikay
$100 for each after hour’s emergency visit
*294 emergencies in 2017 so if 2 DVM’s splitting on call – avg. 147 each DVM
If 3 DVM’s avg. 98 each
Health Insurance-PRVH pays 50%
CE-$1000/yr. toward conferences and/or travel
Association memberships, licenses, uniforms, liability insurance
2 weeks paid vacation, Average schedule 4 days/week
