Calling all Veterinary Technicians and Assistants: Would you like to work for an organization that is at the forefront of Animal Welfare? Where you work with Veterinarians and other technicians whose values mirror yours? Where regardless of whether your patient is owned or not, lives in a mansion or on the streets, you do not have to worry--you have the privilege of delivering to him or her the same exceptional quality of care?
The San Francisco SPCA's High Quality High Volume (HQHV) Spay/Neuter Clinic is looking to grow our team. We care for patients ranging from 8 week old kittens to 100 lb+ Mastiffs, and everything in between. Be a part of a team that can safely and efficiently care for all of them, and then some.
Our anesthesia and pain management protocols are exemplary. We have state of the art equipment, but we believe the most important component of our patients' care is you. Be empowered to practice the kind of medicine you have been taught in school, or bring us the best of your past job experiences.
We also perform a wide range of non spay/neuter surgeries on shelter patients. Your day will never be boring. Every day you come to work makes an actual life-changing difference to your patient. We are committed to staff training, continuing education and job satisfaction. We will invest in you to become the most skilled and confident anesthesia tech you never thought possible.
The Spay/Neuter clinic is located at the Mission campus of the SFSPCA, which abuts San Francisco's vibrant Mission District. Work within walking distance to countless world-class restaurants, taquerias, delis, coffee houses, and food trucks. Easy access to public transportation.
