Do you enjoy surgery? Are you passionate about tackling the pet overpopulation? The FACE Low-Cost Animal Clinic (FACE) may be the perfect opportunity for you. We have an immediate opening for a full-time or part-time veterinarian for our high-volume spay/neuter program in Indianapolis, Indiana.
FACE exists to end the euthanasia of cats and dogs in Indianapolis. We do this by offering accessible spay/neuter, vaccination, minor wellness care and community cat care, without financial or geographic restrictions.
Since opening in 1999, FACE has performed more than a quarter of a million spay/neuter surgeries, which has contributed to a 90% reduction of euthanasia in our community. Every year, more than 10,000 patients count on FACE for affordable spay/neuter services and more than 17,500 visits are made to our vaccine and medical clinic.
We support our veterinarians by providing flexible scheduling, competitive pay, contributions to continuing education, and professional dues and license fees paid. Additionally, FACE is a 501(c)(3) and an eligible organization for the federal student loan forgiveness program.

Able and willing to work in a busy and fast-paced environment.
General supervision of veterinary technicians
Assist in the establishment and maintenance of procedures and protocols.
Build effective relationships through positive interaction and communication with the
community, volunteers and staff.
Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
Advocate the humane treatment of animals and be able to transmit these values to others.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine required.
Current State of Indiana veterinary and controlled substance license.
Ability to perform a high volume of surgeries per day (training provided to achieve the volume required).
Ability to appropriately handle routine surgical rechecks and emergency situations.
