Four score and seven years ago…….actually more like 9 years and 80,000 animals spayed/neutered and counting. That is what is happening at Dakin Humane Society, lots and lots of surgery. Do you have ninja-like surgery skills or are you looking to train to become a spay/neuter ninja? Would you be interested in being a hero for underserved animals? Spay/neuter, cystotomies, amputations, enucleations... If it’s surgery you like doing, then Dakin is the place to be.
Dakin is looking for a part-time veterinarian to focus primarily on spay/neuter and life saving surgeries for community and shelter animals. As part of a veterinary team, you will provide feedback and oversee medical protocols. The schedule can be very flexible, so please apply and talk to us about options. Spay/neuter only or spay/neuter plus other surgeries are both options.
