School/Center Overview The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine is a global leader in veterinary education, research, and clinical care. Duties The primary function of the Emergency Nurse is to ensure the smooth functioning of the Emergency Service. This is accomplished by efficient and accurate triage, case prioritization, and work-up of all incoming cases. You will also be responsible for training and development of senior veterinary students, nursing students and nurse assistants.
Qualifications A LEVEL Associate's Degree or two year college equivalent and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician or will become eligible to sit for and successfully pass the VTNE within the next three months.
B LEVEL Associate's Degree or two year college equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Certified/licensed/registered veterinary technician required.
