The College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida, is seeking applicants for a 2-year clinical residency in comparative theriogenology (reproduction). The program will provide the candidate with training in equine, and secondarily, small animal and ruminant (large and small) reproduction. The program is supported by five board certified faculty theriogenologists. The goals of the program are successful completion of the American College of Theriogenology certifying exam and preparation of the candidate for a future career in academia or private practice.
The position will begin on July 15, 2019. Applicants must possess a DVM/VMD degree, and at least one year of clinical practice experience or internship. English proficiency is required.
Salary is $37,000, with 15 personal days off per year. Residents are offered a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance. Residents receive $500 each year for professional development and earn additional compensation for emergency work.
