Do you wake up dreading your next shift, or do you wake up with a sense of purpose? Are you hoping you can just coast through the day, or do you look forward to the chance to save lives? And let’s just put this out there: Does the adrenalin rush of an emergency put you in the zone? If you have what it takes to be a veterinarian that is at your best when the shit hits the fan, then we want to talk with you.
Our practice is located in Irvine, CA. Ranked the safest big city in the USA for 13 years and running, Irvine also boasts some of the best quality of life in sunny SoCal. This is an animal friendly community with people that will do anything for their pets.
We are a small, family owned veterinary hospital with 4 full-time veterinarians. Our focus is on making sure every single client’s concerns are heard and addressed. We are positioning to be the only general practice in the area to also offer emergency services with 24/7 care. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for emergencies that also has the ability to connect with clients on a personal level, because that’s what we are all about. You see, we don’t have a big flashy hospital yet (it’s in the works). What we do have is a culture based on the core values of compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to be of service to others. Are you up for the challenge?
See mostly walk-ins and emergencies
Diagnose, treat and manage critical and complex cases
Perform emergency procedures, or be willing to learn how to do so

Have prior internship training, or 3+ years experience, or be an exceptional newer graduate
Be willing to work weekends (option of rotating or permanent)
Be willing to work swing shifts
Take full responsibility for your actions
Challenge yourself to be a better person, every day

Act as a positive role model to the support staff around you
With us, you will not:
Be involved in gossip

Be satisfied with what you know
Improperly handle any animal for the sake of “getting the job done”
Some of our unique benefits include:
$135,000/year PLUS tiered commission
Fear Free Certification
$2000 CE allowance and paid vacation
401K and financial planning
If you are still reading this, then this may be the dream job you’ve always wanted. We look forward to bringing in our new associate by Spring 2019, but we will spend the time to make sure we find the right fit. So first things first, please e-mail a cover letter and your resume to email@example.com. We can’t wait to meet you!
