Our 4 doctor, AAHA accredited, small animal practice in Brevard County, Florida is located minutes from the beach and a short drive to the Orlando area. We are seeking a full-time associate veterinarian, 32-37 hours per week, to join our well-established, small animal clinic. Serving our community for over 40 years, our busy practice has a large client base and offers many benefits including a competitive salary, continued education, uniform allowance, dues and licensing fees, 401k, professional liability insurance, vacation time, and personal pet care allowance. Our low staff turnover allows for an excellent support staff who strive to provide high quality care while having compassion for our patients and clients. Candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills with a strong interest in medicine and surgery, and have a calm, collaborative personality. Mentorship will be provided as candidate transitions into practice. A guaranteed salary base based on experience with a percentage of production allows for growth while providing a work/life balance. $80,000-$140,000 annually. Candidate will work 4 weekdays with alternating Saturday mornings 8-11am. No emergency after hours or on call. Closed most holidays
The Associate veterinarian works with the practice owner to define and implement practice medical policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care. They deliver medical, surgical and dental care to patients. The Associate Veterinarian plays a key role in building and maintaining client relationships as well as staff relationships. He/She may assist in supervising staff members in their daily medical duties when the Manager is not in the practice to oversee this important function. This is a leadership position with the important responsibility of ensuring a positive work environment in which the practice can achieves its goals.
