Upstate Veterinary Specialties, PLLC, is seeking full time Emergency Clinicians to join our team in upstate New York.
We are a privately owned, multispecialty referral practice located near Albany in the Capital District of upstate New York. We enjoy a large referral base and a cooperative work environment with highly trained and compassionate support staff and a dedicated management team. We have moved to our custom built 23,000 square foot facility in December, 2015, and have expanded to include a 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care service to join the rest of the specialty services in the hospital. Current specialists in the practice include Cardiology (3), Critical Care (1), Internal Medicine (2), Neurology (2), Ophthalmology (2), Radiology (1), Rehabilitation (1), Surgery (2), and Oncology (1). The new facility includes advanced imaging modalities and has dedicated hospitalization areas for intensive and intermediate care cases as well as a feline ward. Any additional equipment necessary for a state-of-the-art critical care service will be considered.
The Capital District around Albany, NY is a wonderful environment to live and work. Outdoor activities abound with the Adirondacks, Catskills, Berkshires of Massachusetts and Green Mountains of Vermont all within an hour of the practice. The area’s growing population also satisfies most cultural interests. The Capital District is centrally located between the metropolitan areas of Boston, New York, and Montreal and offers easy access to public transportation with Amtrak stations and an international airport right around the corner.
