Small animal practice in beautiful Napa Valley seeking experienced CSR, Customer Service Rep, to join our team. We are a one doctor practice that cares for and treats cats and dogs with an occasional ferret mixed in between. Position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Napa Valley Veterinary Hospital has been practicing medicine for over 40, years.
Must be professional, compassionate, motivated and energetic. It's imperative that the applicant communicate effectively with both clients and team members, using appropriate medical terminology. Often a fast paced environment, it is important to be able to multitask.
Duties will include but are not limited to; assisting the Hospital Manager, running miscellaneous reports, editing medical paperwork and labs etc. Multi phone use, computer literate, able to use basic office equipment. Checking clients in/out, assisting in taking patient weights and temps, discharging patients. Filling prescriptions, assisting clients to their vehicle with pet (s) and food. The ability to lift items over 30#, is very helpful.
There are times when the applicant will have the opportunity to assist in the treatment area, making said applicant all the more well rounded.
Currently the maintenance (cleaning) of hospital is shared with all employees on a rotational basis.
Attend Staff meetings, participate in hospital learning sessions, support Practice Owner, Management and Team Members.
