Advanced Pet Care of Parker (APCOP) is a well-established, highly successful practice that offers a high quality case load. We are seeking a part-time to full time (25-40 hours per week) associate for our rapidly growing veterinary hospital located in Parker, CO, a south-eastern suburb of Denver. Parker is a low crime, family friendly town. We are about a 30 minute drive from Downtown Denver, and within 2-3 hours of most major ski resorts and camping facilities.
An associate position for 3-4 days a week is immediately available for a veterinarian with at least one year of experience. You will be joining a team of 2 veterinarians with over 25 years combined experience who truly enjoy practicing medicine and are dedicated to their patients. If you possess excellent communication skills with clients and team members, are compassionate and energetic, and wish to offer your patients amazing medical and surgical care, we may be the practice for you!
Our facility is fully equipped with the following: digital radiology (both full body and dental machines), a top of the line MyLab VetGold30 Easote ultrasound unit, New Digital Radiography system, Cornerstone software allowing us to be completely paperless, 3 exam rooms and a consultation/comfort room, 2 Dentalaire Ultimate machines (both include scaler, polisher, air/water spray, and high speed drill), digital dental radiographs, and a fully equipped in-house Idexx laboratory (including CBC, Chemistry, and Sedivue Urinalysis), as well as the Abaxis Coagulation machine. Our large surgery suite is used for sterile surgeries only. We have multiple Isoflurane anesthesia machines, 2 multi-parameter monitoring units that record all information digitally, Radiocautery, and suction units. We have a fully stocked pharmacy, and stock a full line of Science Diet and Royal Canin prescription diets.
At APCOP, we work closely with our local specialist. There is a fantastic Referral/Emergency Hospital within a few miles, so no on-call or emergency shifts are required! We boast a great relationship with them for consultations with their specialists. We also work closely with both a Board-Certified Surgeon and Board-Certified Cardiologist, who are available to perform mobile procedures at our facility.
