DVM or equivalent
We are a full-service companion animal hospital that is well-established in a community just 20 miles northeast of Dallas. We are looking to add a full-time associate veterinarian to a busy one-doctor practice. We prefer a veterinarian with experience, though we are open to new graduates.
Our hospital believes in providing exceptional medical care to our patients and unparalleled service to our clients. Our facility is well-equipped with an on-site surgery suite, digital radiography (including dental radiography), ultrasound, in house lab machines, and up-to-date diagnostic/monitoring equipment. We are able to provide our employees with a small-clinic feel, while providing our clients with all the services a larger hospital can provide. We provide medical services for dogs, cats, small mammals, and exotic/avian pets. While experience with exotics is not a requirement, we do want to hire a veterinarian with an interest, a desire, and a willingness to work with exotic pets.
We are seeking a veterinarian who enjoys learning and who can be a team player. We pride ourselves on our friendliness and kindness, both in a staff setting and with our clients. We believe that the ability of our veterinarians to work with compassion and care—both with animals and people--influences the rest of the staff to do the same and can be felt by our clients.
Our location is ideal—whether you’d prefer to live in a metropolitan area or live in a smaller community within a short drive of a large city. We offer a competitive/negotiable salary and benefits package (including paid holidays, a CE stipend, licensing fees, health/dental packages, and 401K program).
-Graduate of a licensed, accredited veterinary school
-Licensed to practice as a veterinarian in Texas in good standing
