Associate Veterinarian

AAHA-accredited, VCA Fairmount Animal Hospital located in beautiful Central New York, is seeking a full time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! 

OUR HOSPITAL: 

·       7 doctor practice, allows for flexibility of scheduling 

·       Modern spacious hospital with 9 exam rooms, large treatment area, separate surgical and dental suites 

·       12 full-time LVT's, 13 Veterinary Assistants

·       Digital radiography and dental x-ray, ultrasound, Class IV therapeutic laser, Tonopen, in-house laboratory with next-day reference lab

About the position: 

We are ready to welcome an experienced doctor with open arms or provide support and mentorship to a new graduate.  Small animal exclusive with the (very) occasional pocket pet. Our ideal candidate would be able to handle a busy, diverse caseload, have excellent communication skills, and work well with others.

We are a community-oriented area, with many activities to do on your days off!  A short drive from the Fingerlakes, and in close proximity to several state parks and the Adirondack Mountains.  Many of our team members enjoy hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing on their days off!
