| Westland Veterinary Hospital is growing and looking for a Medical Lead Veterinarian to lead our team! Our clinic is a full-service, small animal hospital located in Westland, Michigan! With a central location between Ann Arbor and Downtown Detroit, our client list is growing and so is our Medical team! It is our commitment to provide quality, veterinary care throughout our patients' lives. Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as pets age; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during his or her lifetime. We are an established practice that offers flexible hours to our patients 7 days per week. This Medical Lead Veterinarian position will be responsible for covering day shifts Monday through Friday (with very few evening shifts sprinkled in per month) as well as rotating Saturdays - NO SUNDAYS. We are currently a team of 2 experienced veterinarians that are working with an excellent support staff. Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, an interest in leading a team during an exciting growth period and advanced surgery experience. There is much to love about Westland, Michigan! Located near 2 of Southeast Michigan's best known cities, Westland offers many activities for its residents to take in. Whether it is a Saturday morning stroll through the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market, or filling your summer nights at Comerica Park cheering on the Tigers - this location is at the heart of it all!
