Associate Veterinarian

Fayetteville Animal Clinic is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our small animal department. Opportunity exists to do some large animal if preferred. We are a mixed animal practice located in Fayetteville, TN, approximately 30 miles north of Huntsville, AL and 80 miles south of Nashville, TN. We have been in business since 1944 and serve southern middle Tennessee and north central Alabama. We have 2 full time small animal veterinarians, 3 full time large animal veterinarians, and 2 full time veterinarians who do both small and large. The practice is divided 50/50 between large and small animal. Our small animal doctors provide after hours phone consultation until 9:00 pm on a rotating schedule. Any after hours emergencies needing to be seen are referred to the emergency clinics in Huntsville, AL. 

We have an extensive laboratory with IDEXX VetLab Station, Catalyst Chemistry analyzer, Digital (CR) radiography, Ultrasound machine, endoscope, two gas anesthesia machines, dental cleaning equipment, and other routine equipment. Small animal surgery is mostly routine, but any veterinarian with an interest in surgery will find that many interesting surgical opportunities are available. Client education and building relationships with clients is very important.
