Associate Veterinarian wanted for Busy Small Animal Clinic

Looking for a 6-figure salary to pay off those student loans or buy a house?  Ready to manage your career and be paid what you are worth?  We have a busy small animal practice in the Heart of the Tennessee Valley.  Recently ranked as the most educated city, in the World.  Yes, that is a world ranking!  Huntsville Alabama is a cosmopolitan city that continues to grow rapidly attracting many young professionals.  Home of the Marshall Space Flight Center and a thriving Army base, local industry also includes:  Research Genetics, Military Support Contractors, new FBI center and many web-based businesses and the new center for the Space Force.

We need to add an additional team member who can appreciate cutting edge medicine and surgery.  We would be willing to hire a new graduate that wants to be mentored by some well-seasoned practioners and is willing to make lasting client connections.  Alternatively our six Veterinarians would not mind learning some new tricks and procedures from our newer graduates.  Total staff number is currently at 40.  Our clients demand the latest in up to date medicine and surgery.

The clinic is over 10,000 square feet and is stocked with some of the finest equipment.  We currently have seven veterinarians on staff, several registered technicians as well as career veterinary assistants.  The practice has digital radiography, an endoscope, Heska chemistry, QBC, an ultrasound with Doppler, complete plating and pinning surgical equipment not to mention cryosurgery and a Tono pen.  

Although primarily a small Animal Hospital we have treated the occasional reptile, goat, bird and cow.  Exotics and large animals could definitely expand the practice if someone had a special interest in these species.

We offer a good base salary with a great % production bonus for any veterinarian who is willing to work.  Starting salary is dependent on experience and a possible bonus is calculated every three months.  Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medical and Dental Insurance are available.  Vacation, and paid continuing education, round our some of our many benefits.  Most new graduates can earn over a six-figure salary their first year out of Veterinary School.  Looking for a shorter work week?  Our veterinarians have a three day weekend every third week and typically work less than 40 hours weekly.  When fully staffed we commonly have a four-day work week.
