| Bird & Pet Clinic of Roseville is a busy, five doctor, small animal and exotic veterinary clinic just outside of Sacramento, California looking to add a new veterinarian to our practice! Our extremely spacious and modern hospital includes five exam rooms, double surgical suite, 4-sink treatment area, and multiple wards for different species. Our exotic caseload is approximately 50% of our patients and includes small mammals, parrots, reptiles, raptors, wildlife and more. We have a strong existing falconry client base with limitless opportunities to work extensively in this area, if that is an interest.
Amenities include: - Electronic medical records that are cloud-based so you can access from home if desired
- Digital radiographs and digital dental radiographs
- Lots of toys including rigid endoscopy, tonovet, ultrasound, and in-house lab machines
- Multiple options for secondary and tertiary referral close by
Doctors work approximately 40 hours per week. We are flexible with work schedules and can tailor to your needs or preferences. Saturdays are shared. There is no after hours emergency, no on call and we are closed Sundays. Work-life balance is extremely important to us. We have a friendly and welcoming staff and we always have a lot of fun at work.
Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience but we will consider more recent graduates with the right attitude and interests. Exotics experience is preferred but not imperative. We have an ABVP-Avian board-certified veterinarian on staff and can offer mentorship if this is a direction of interest for you.
