Veterinarian wanted to work part-time/full-time in our small animal practice. Flexible scheduling is available. We are a close-knit group of friends and family looking to increase our 'family' size due to a flurry of pregnancies! We are beyond excited for our co-workers, but greatly in need of help. (Don"t drink the water here!) We are a fast-paced practice offering a full range of diagnostics and emergency care to our clientele. Our hospital houses radiology, surgical, ultrasound, urinalysis and blood machines on site, as well as offering chemotherapy. There is nothing we can't do on-site! (except fecals; none of us want to play that game. Let's hear it for Idexx!). Our appointments are 30 minutes back to back, with special blocked times for emergency or same day sick appointments. An hour in the middle and end of the day are alloted for call-backs and write ups. Our Veterinary staff loves to pass on knowledge and mentor, and will help you through any difficult case you have. We have heavy load of behavior and internal medicine cases, so there is plenty of opportunity for learning and growth. We are a group of easy-going and relaxed individuals who practice 100% fear free medicine. Throughout our practice the walls are covered in calming art, pastel colors and stained glass lighting. There are no tables in our exam rooms either. Just large comfortable armchairs and leather benches for our patients to lounge on. All exams are done on the floor at the patients level, with most of our patients opting to sit in your lap. We do everything we can to ensure that our patients feel as safe and happy as possible while they are with us. On a more personal note; Our group regularly enjoys after work drinks after tough and exhausting days; but also because we genuinely love each other and don't want to stop hanging out just because the day is over. Our employees' happiness as our top priority, so the entire staff is taken into account when making schedules and planning holidays. We do not believe in the hierarchical work environments, so we all enjoy the same privileges and mutual respect (drama and cliques are not tolerated). We make a lot of jokes and spend most of the day laughing, so a sense of humor is required. We will continue to operate curb-side throughout the remainder of the pandemic to keep our staff as safe as possible at all times! |
