Winchester Veterinary Group is a six-doctor, long-established small animal hospital, located just northwest of Boston, MA. We are fortunate to have experienced staff and a dedicated client base that allows for advanced work-ups in-house. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian who is willing to hit the ground running! WHY WINCHESTER VETERINARY GROUP? - We pride ourselves on our connection to our patients and community. We deliver top-notch medicine with a standard appointment time of 30 minutes and 60 minutes reserved for new clients. No more rushing room to room – we love getting to know everyone!
- Our clinic staff has a strong culture of mentorship and teamwork. We welcome those who want to engage in both learning and teaching to strengthen themselves and their colleagues.
- We are serious about training and education. We are beginning the process of Fear-Free certification and have started AtDove.org modules.
- We encourage and support you in finding your niche – our doctors have special interests in internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, behavior, ultrasound, and aquatics!
WHAT CAN YOU OFFER? - Well-rounded anesthesia, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and digital and dental radiography skills. The ability to perform multi-root extractions and manage chronic cases are a plus.
- A passion for learning and sharing skills. Excellent communication, openness to collaborative case discussion, positive attitude, and a compassionate approach to both 2-legged and 4-legged creatures would make you a great fit.
- A sense of humor and occasional contributions to spontaneous dance parties are also welcome.
- Availability to work one Saturday a month.
