| We are a Non-Corporate, accredited, Rural, Small Animal Hospital with the perfect blend of professionalism and playfulness. We are privileged to provide general and emergency care to the Fire Department dogs and Sherriff Department dogs. As professional rural practitioners, we are located hours away from emergency services and specialists. Our on-site equipment includes: CT Scanning, ultra-sound, endoscopy, surgical laser, video otoscopes, complete in-house laboratory, and more. Providing advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures and routine health care aligns with our Purpose: Making Texas a Better Place for Pets & People. Because we are recognized as a leader in veterinary medicine, our hospitals have been selected as core teaching hospitals for Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. Offering this broad range of medicine makes each day exciting and rewarding. You will be surrounded by a fun, dedicated support staff that is highly trained to use all of our diagnostic equipment. Our team also includes highly competent professionals in practice management, finance, and marketing/community service. Working in a well-managed, sophisticated, financially stable environment allows our veterinarians to be well compensated. Our Production Salary compensation package will provide a first year veterinary student to make between $120,000 and $140,000. Our package also includes a generous PTO policy and pays 100% medical. Professional development is a core value. As such, we have a robust CE allowance which pays 100% travel and registration. About Big Spring Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital
Big Spring Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital is a state of the art veterinary hospital located in West Texas. On site we have a full blood work station, ultrasound, digital x-ray, CT, and other diagnostic tools. A cornerstone of our culture is continuously reinvesting in our hospital's equipment and training for our veterinarians and support staff. We do this by bringing specialists directly to our hospital to train us as a team and attending our regional conferences as a team. We strongly believe in providing the highest quality of veterinary care, which includes diagnosing and treating on sight, whether that be through a lifelong prescription or surgery.
