Associate Veterinarian

Wanted:  New, slightly used or well-seasoned veterinarian to be a psychologist, counselor, body language interpreter, fearless animal tamer and all-round font of knowledge to work with like-minded individuals.  

 Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, enjoys a challenge and likes to learn new things daily.  We are a flexible, family owned three doctor hospital that emphasizes communication and excellent medicine, as well as collaboration between doctors; more brains are better than one!  Location and loyal clientele allow for thorough work-ups and a large referral center, as well as Cornell University, are both a short drive away.  No out-of-hours emergencies and limited weekends.  No overnights.  Must love coffee and food that is bad for you.    

Our large, modern AAHA hospital was recently renovated, and we offer a full range of medicine and surgery, as well as acupuncture and chiropractic.  We offer paid CE, licensing, organizational dues (state, local, DEA, VIN), professional liability, health insurance, retirement, pet discounts, and vacation.  Mentorship is ongoing and can be tailored to the candidate; this is a salaried position.  We strongly encourage our associates to pursue their professional interests and practice to the full extent of their abilities.  Excellent communication skills, as well as a willingness to share knowledge, is a must!  If you want to be part of a great team, join us!
