Interested in the rewarding, challenging, relationship-building, fast-paced, "I've never seen that before!" aspects of veterinary medicine? Look no further than rural veterinary medicine! At our office, you will never be bored; you will work with other vets willing to mentor and learn from you; and you will be supported by staff that is passionate about helping others and love to laugh along the way.
We prefer a person interested in both medicine and surgery, although we are flexible in how much of each you would do. Giving high-quality customer service is important to us, as is a genuine concern for both the animals and the people attached to them. Professionalism, communication skills, multi-tasking - all are necessary but we are willing to teach these skills if you are open to learning them and willing to take direction. We value honesty, personal integrity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
After-hours emergencies are sent to the ER, however we will see daytime emergencies. Work weeks are kept as close to 40 hours/week as possible.
