Associate Veterinarian - Arroyo Grande, CA

VCA Arroyo Grande Animal Hospital located in Arroyo Grande, CA is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

We are a 5 DVM practice focusing on wellness and general care with a fun-loving, cohesive team.  Soft tissue surgical and dentistry skill is required, along with client interaction.  We operate in a free-standing, open floor plan hospital with lots of natural light and a garden area, utilizing EMR, digital radiography, cold laser, and dental radiology.  Our hospital has been a fixture of the community for over 30 years.

We are open Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm. The work schedule includes 4 days/week (Mon-Fri) with a rotating day on Saturday once per month.  After hours emergencies are referred to one of two local ER's (closest is 2 miles from our hospital).

Located in a small-town beachside community with loads of opportunities for outdoor activity and some of the best weather in the country!  Our hospital sits approximately 3 miles from the beach entrance at Pismo Beach. World-class wineries are within an hours drive, along with live music venues and great dining. Hiking, biking, surfing, kayaking, horseback events, deep-sea fishing, and camping are all available in this area. Cal Poly SLO is a short drive from us and offers community events as well as a thriving student community.
