Associate Veterinarian (Full or Part Time) Avian/Exotics/GP in San Antonio

Kirby Animal Hospital in San Antonio, TX is looking for a full or part-time associate veterinarian. We are beginning the exciting process of renovating our hospital, which will have all new technology (paperless, cloud-based practice management software, tablets), new equipment (upgraded dental x-ray, new IDEXX laboratory machines, digital x-ray, cold laser, etc), and aesthetic design, all designed to capture a younger, tech-enabled and family-centric audience. Our hospital is led by Dr. Anne Romeo, who is a fantastic cultural leader and would love to mentor a younger graduate, or partner with a more experienced associate. We also have Dr. Melissa Hill, our senior associate and former lead DVM, who has a special interest in wildlife and exotics, particularly raptors, who would love to have a protege to pass on her knowledge to.

The primary responsibilities of the associate veterinarian are to practice high-quality veterinary care, provide excellent customer service to our clients, and a dedication to continuing education and development. Our Chief of Staff is available for mentorship, and you will likely work with her 3-4 days per week. Ideal qualities include being personable, confident, hardworking, and dedicated to high-quality companion animal general practice (internal medicine and general surgery).
