| Looking for a full time Vet to join our practice in Metairie, Louisiana just outside of New Orleans. We are currently a 2 Vet practice run by brothers in their mid 30s. We have a rapidly growing small animal practice and have just recently moved into a 7000 square foot, state of the art, multi-million dollar facility we designed from the ground up. Our clinic has a reputation for friendly, exceptional service at affordable prices and we offer nearly all services under one roof; we refer only advanced oncology cases and very specialized ortho cases. We do not offer MRI or CTScan, but all other same day in-house diagnostics are available . Mostly, we pride ourselves on being able to handle nearly every case under one roof at affordable prices and that is our strong reputation here in the Greater New Orleans area. We specialize in reproductive services and regenerative medicine and also work with more rescue groups than any other clinic in our area; so, our caseload is very diverse and our days are interesting and busy to say the least. Batt Veterinary Services is definitely a mixed animal practice, seeing a fair case load of equine patients and other farm animal and exotics. Experience in these fields is welcome but certainly not required.

All applicants welcome but a few years experience is preferred. The most important quality in an applicant that we are seeking is an out-going, friendly, positive attitude. We are a team here and that culture is evident in everything we do! Batt Vet Services is a high volume practice so if you prefer to see only a few cases a day this is not the job for you. Both Vets are highly motivated, high energy individuals and we enjoy both teaching and learning from our peers. We perform 10-20 surgeries a day so surgical experience and aptitude is a plus but not required. Again, the most important characteristic we are looking for is someone who is good with clients , proficient in small animal medicine, able to work in a high volume/ fast paced environment, and has a positive "CAN DO" attitude.
