The Veterinary Technology program at North Dakota State University is seeking to fill a 9-month, non-tenure track teaching position. The Veterinary Technology program at NDSU is one of the 20+ programs accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association - Committee for Veterinary Technician Education and Activities (AVMA-CVTEA). The program was established in 1976 and has a strong reputation as a leader in the education of the next generation of veterinary technologists.
Those interested in the position would be expected to:
Teach undergraduate lecture and laboratory courses within the Veterinary Technology program and the Department of Animal Sciences
Develop educational materials pertaining to all aspects of veterinary technology
Provide academic advising for undergraduate students, supervise students, and provide mentorship to student clubs
Model a high level of veterinary care and professionalism
Serve on committees for the department, college, and/or university
Work as part of a team to provide optimal instruction to students
Ability and agreeance to complete a Master's-level degree program
Applicants that currently hold a M.S. degree meet this requirement
Perform other duties as assigned
