The successful candidate will promote efficient delivery of multiple diagnostic imaging modalities in collaboration with the clinical services within the LVMC. The remaining effort may include development of a creative program of scholarship, didactic and laboratory teaching, academic service, and outreach activities. Individuals currently in residency training are encouraged to apply. Required Minimum Qualifications:
· DVM or equivalent degree.
· Successful completion or active enrollment in an approved residency training program by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) or the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI) and eligibility to participate in the Board Examination process.
· State of Iowa Veterinary License on or before the first day of employment.
· Board Certified by ACVR or ECVDI.
· Experience in both small and large animal radiology/diagnostic imaging.
· Expertise in advanced imaging.
· An advanced degree (MS, PhD or equivalent) or notable potential for scholarship through both manuscript publication/preparation and preparation/success in granting activity and national scholarly, clinical, or educational presentations.
