2022 marks the 86th birthday of The Animal Clinic of Galveston! We are the oldest and still privately owned practice on the island and still growing. Founded in 1936, this small animal practice has garnered a reputation in Galveston as the place to bring your animals for the best care available. Our knowledgeable veterinary team are compassionate caretakers of dogs, cats, exotics, small farm animals, reptiles, birds and local wildlife. We are passionate about what we do here, the care of our patients is key! We are the only clinic on the island that offer emergency services during open hours. Our team’s mission is to provide personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care to our clients and patients. Recognizing that feline patients often need a calmer setting, The Cat Clinic, a “Cat Friendly Practice” is located right next door in a separate building with a soothing atmosphere dedicated to keeping the visit as stress free as possible. In addition, The Animal Clinic is an integral partner that works hand in hand with the Galveston Island Humane Society for the health and well-being of Galveston animals in need.
