The Louisiana SPCA is the largest and oldest animal welfare nonprofit in the state of Louisiana. As a nonprofit organization we are dedicated to the elimination of animal suffering and have been committed to serving the needs of the people and animals in New Orleans and across the region for more than 130 years. Our team provides daily care for the stray and homeless pet population in Orleans and Plaquemines parishes. The Louisiana SPCA Community Clinic provides access to high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services as well as preventative and essential veterinary care. The clinic plays a crucial role in keeping pets and owners united throughout the course of medical treatment, with the primary focus being the care of the animal and the client, to help enhance the lives of both the pet and the person.
