almer Veterinary Clinic in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking a full time DVM! We are a busy family-owned seven doctor general mixed animal practice founded in 1958 located in Northern NY. We are surrounded by the Adirondacks, Lake Champlain, and Lake Placid providing plenty of opportunity for year-round outdoor recreation. Burlington, VT and Montreal are both an hour away and travel to other metropolitan areas like NYC is easy. The breadth of our services matches the needs of a diverse clientele resulting in rewarding and varied case presentations. We provide routine companion animal medical and surgical services while leveraging our 8 LVTs and plethora of additional seasoned support staff. A complete IDEXX laboratory suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and electronic medical records allow us to thoroughly and efficiently manage our caseload. We are able to manage the vast majority of our caseload but do have nearby specialist referral options. Large animal services primarily include routine herd health work for a diverse dairy clientele, equine, and small ruminant care. Small animal or mixed animal associates are encouraged to apply.
