In search of an equine technician/assistant for a small, progressive sports medicine practice based in Lexington, KY.   

-Pay based on current experience

-guaranteed 30 hours/week with overtime

-mileage reimbursed for travel,  housing provided for locations other than Lexington

-benefits include health care, long-term disability, retirement matching, paid vacation

Extensive travel required (3 months in FL for winter show circuit plus shorter trips throughout the summer).  Equine industry experience a must, no current medical knowledge needed.  Must be able to jog and handle athletic horses competently, carry equipment that is between 30-40 pounds and be on your feet for most of the day.
