Halifax Veterinary Center is a stand-alone AAHA-accredited practice located minutes from the interstate and the beach on the central East Coast of Florida. Our location makes commuting a breeze or living locally a dream come true. We pride ourselves in our family-like environment, which is evident as some employees have been with us for 10 or more years. Our practice is thriving!  Our doctors love the four-day work week schedule with NO WEEKENDS! We are open to a full-time or part-time associate.  It's up to you, making your work-life what you want it to be!  We were recently re-accredited with AAHA for another three years!  Our owner/medical director loves to mentor new veterinarians and and and all our doctors are always happy to bounce ideas off each other, which is great for new graduates and seasoned doctors alike.  

We have a wide range of services, from surgical and medical to rehabilitation and manual therapy. We are also open minded to eastern medicine, as our doctors are trained in acupuncture through the Chi Institute. Interested in Exotics and Pocket Pets? We see them too.  Do you love working with Avian patients, we would be open to expanding our practice for you. 
 
Our hospital boasts six exam rooms, with one of our feline-specific rooms having pheromone diffusers and a window seat for the patients. For any of our patients crossing the rainbow bridge, we have a Sympathy Room.  We also offer outdoor euthanasias where owners and their furry family members can spend their last moments together in the beautiful Florida weather.  
 
We have a beautiful facility with up-to-date equipment to help make your days easier. Do you hate filling out a controlled substance log? Our state-of-the-art Cubex Tower does that work for you while acting as a double verification to minimize errors. In addition, we have a full in-house pharmacy, VetSource on-line pharmacy, and relationships with three compounding pharmacies for our extra needs.  We have a full-time inventory manager, so we don’t worry about running out of anything.  Our PMS is Ezyvet.
 
Our technicians have years of experience.  We have had relief veterinarians make comments to us that they love our staff and are pleased with the quality care we give our patients.  Our office staff is equally responsible for our thriving practice and our clients love them. We ensure every patient is treated completely and equally by providing quality, common-sense doctoring in as efficient a manner as possible. Our team makes a busy schedule plus drop off appointments seem easy, perfect for the associate who wants to be productive all the time.
