Our busy privately-owned clinic in Southern California has an opening for an associate veterinarian. Our rapidly expanding ambulatory practice specializes in performance horses with a focus on lameness. This is a unique opportunity to work on elite equine athletes in disciplines ranging from racing to hunter/jumper and eventing to western performance in addition to treating pleasure horses, minis, goats, etc.
Our new associate can expect a team-oriented environment with countless mentorship opportunities. Emergency/on-call duties rotate between all veterinarians (currently 4). Our goal is to help you develop as both a veterinarian and an entrepreneur – we grow when you grow! All members of our veterinary staff have been with us for a minimum of 9 years and tend to busy schedules seeing their respective clientele while participating in both professional and personal opportunities.
The office as a whole has a family-like environment and we celebrate as a team, whether it’s the monthly birthday party, Christmas party, or just chatting together at lunch or after work. We keep a stocked kitchen and we take requests!
Our practice is well equipped with 4 DR units (including 2 wireless Sound Next DRs), ultrasound, endoscopy, gastroscopy, regenerative laser, and power dentistry as well as an in-house lab. We also utilize advanced regenerative medicine techniques including IRAP, Alpha 2EQ, Pro-stride, and PRP. We provide a fully-stocked (and gassed!) truck and will supply a tech as needed.

We are considering all levels of veterinary experience. New grads are encouraged to apply!
You must be eligible for a CA vet license if not currently licensed in the state. Anyand all licenses you currently hold or have ever held must be in good standing. You must also be eligible for a licensure with the California Horse Racing Board, though this will only be needed for emergency calls and vacation coverage. This position is focused on off-track clientele and not required to participate in any track work.

Most of our veterinary staff competes in equine-related activities and would be happy to bring you along!
Founded as a racetrack exclusive practice in 2006 but have since branched out into all disciplines of competitive equine events as well as pleasure horses. The majority of our work is done with performance horses but we are happiest around any horses.
