We are looking for a full-time or part-time veterinary associate (2-4 days a week) to join our 3-doctor practice in Northern California, the heart of wine country. Our practice emphasizes preventive medicine, internal medicine, diagnostics, client education, dental care. We also offer complimentary medicine (Class IV laser and acupuncture) to support pets and their families throughout all life stages.
We are a busy practice but not a high-volume clinic. Our ideal candidate would take the time to emphasize annual wellness care, do thorough work ups, and has an interest in dentistry and internal medicine. We are also a practice that focuses on senior pet care and management. We generally refer orthopedic surgeries, but candidate must have basic spay/neuter and soft tissue surgery skills. Our ideal candidate is committed to creating and maintaining long term client/patient relationships. We are seeking someone who has great communications skills, values collaboration and teamwork and has the desire and flexibility to continue to learn and adapt with the practice.
We welcome applicants who have at least 2-3 years of clinical practice experience, or an internship if a new graduate, to round out our current medical team. We are willing to train dental skills. Base salary 110K to 150K plus production bonus, depending upon experience. We currently have 4 RVTs on staff. Our practice has EMRs, in-house blood work, digital X-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and access to endoscopy specialist.
