Locum, Large Animal Emergency Oregon State University is seeking locum candidates for our Large Animal Emergency Service for periods of 1 to 4 weeks starting immediately. Multiple service periods are possible. The locum will manage after-hours cases in all species, supporting house officers and veterinary students, and with the support of clinicians from the daytime services. Horses and goats are the most common patients. The locum will manage cases requiring both medical and surgical care, including operating as the primary surgeon, depending on experience.
