ASSOCIATE SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARIAN OPPORTUNITY IN THE UPPER PENINSULA – Expand your medical and surgical skills alongside the best of the best at Bayshore Veterinary Hospital. Established in 1993, Bayshore is well-known in the Marquette community for the quality and unparalleled veterinary care it offers. Work for a privately-owned practice that embraces patient-tailored medicine over corporate mandated protocols and treatment plans. Join a charismatic and outgoing team comprised of 3 full-time DVMs, experienced LVTs, veterinary assistants, and additional cross-trained support staff. We are committed to empowering our techs/assistants to fully utilize their skills so DVMs can focus on what’s important. Interested candidates must be passionate, dedicated, a team player, and possess good communication skills. Ideally, the candidate will also have 2-3 years clinical experience with proficiency in performing basic sterilization procedures and dental extractions in dogs and cats. Offered salary and benefits are competitive to not just the U.P. but also to the rest of the state. Benefits include production bonus, moving allowance, medical insurance, paid vacation, yearly CE stipend, Roth IRA matching (up to 3%), and licensing/membership fees. Evenings and weekends away from work can be spent un-plugged and enjoying all that Marquette and the Lake Superior shoreline has to offer. Experience hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and camping during the late-Spring to early-Fall months. Snow showing, skiing, snowmobiling, and fat tire biking are just a few of many activities to appreciate during the colder months. This is your opportunity to find the perfect balance between enjoying what you do and where you do it. Come be a part of the exceptional team at Bayshore Veterinary Hospital.
